Spectrum router can often stop working if it is having troubles connecting to server. The issue can arise due to many reasons, power outage, and maintenance issues. Simple trouble shooting can help you resolve many issues. But if that
doesn’t help, resetting spectrum router is the most effective way. Let’s have a look at the steps.
Steps to reset Spectrum router-
Find the reset button on your router.
Press and hold that button for a few seconds.
It will take up to few minutes to boot your router and the small LED lights
Should now hopefully be stable which may have been flickering earlier.
Now check any your device with internet connection to make sure it’s working.
If you're unable to connect your device to WiFi:
Try turning WiFi OFF, and then back ON. This will help resolve most WiFi issues.
Ensure WiFi is enabled and that you have a strong WiFi signal.
Make sure you're in range of the WiFi service you're trying to connect to. Available services are listed in your WiFi settings menu. If the desired WiFi network isn't listed, try connecting to a local Spectrum access point.
If the nearest WiFi access point has low connectivity, your device may not connect to avoid a poor WiFi experience.
If you're connecting to a private WiFi service, make sure you've entered the correct password. Some WiFi services may present a welcome page with information such as pricing, session length and terms & conditions that must be acknowledged before using the WiFi service.
Reset your Network settings.
If the issue persists, restart your device.
