Steps to reset AT&T router:
Press and hold the reset button on the gateway for 10 seconds.
Make sure you hold it otherwise the router will reboot and nor perform a reset.
Wait till the status lights are on.
If the broadband or the service status light turns green, the ATT Uverse reset router is successfully completed.
Reset your modem or gateway
If you're having trouble connecting to the internet, and not an outage, sometimes a system reset will get you going again.
Reset the receiver by holding down the POWER button on the front of the receiver for 10 seconds.
The reset takes 5 to 8 minutes. If you have multiple receivers, reset your wireless gateway by unplugging it from its power source.
Wait a few minutes, then plug it back in.
