Most of the routers do have a default username and password but you can change it any time. It is advised to do so for better security, so that you can chose who are to be made aware of it. Steps for resetting your router password:
Type 192.168.1.1. and log in through default username and password.
Click on the Settings options.
Enter the new username and password in the provided boxes.
Click on Save.
