Password act like keys in securing the account. It avoids unnecessary access. The Netgear router password default is admin. It is case sensitive and has to be typed in lower case. Although it’s best to reset it for security reasons. Let’s have a look at the steps.
Steps to reset Netgear password:
Open a web browser in a device connected to the router.
Type 192.168.0.1 in the URL section and click enter.
This will direct you to the login page. Enter the default login credentials.
Then go to Wi-Fi network and click on password.
Enter the current password and then create and type the new password.
Re enter the new password to confirm.
Click on save to apply the changes.
